New investments in KSSEMP

Six new facilities are to be erected in the Kamienna Gora Special Economic Zone for Small Business (KSSEMP) in the next dozen or so months. The scheduled projects will require expenditure totalling approximately PLN 62m (€14.6m).
In the near future Piotr Baranski plans to establish a chemicals lab in Kamienna Gora. Its function will be to recover gold and prepare the precious metal for the jewellery industry. The project will cost PLN 2.5m (€587,286). The company Andy will put up an insulation mat production unit in the same town and will spend approximately PLN 1.2m (€281,897) on this purpose. Meanwhile, the company Konstal intends to expand its production unit in Luban, where the firm One will also build a factory on the site of the former railway rolling stock plant Zaklad Napraw Taboru Kolejowego. The investment will require capital expenditure of approximately PLN 1m (€234,956).
On the other hand, the company Rena wants to invest PLN 9m (€2.1m) in its plant in Nowogrodziec, in which it will produce casings and components for galvanic machinery (solar technology). Finally, the enterprise Energomontaz Zachod is planning two projects in Zmigrod with a combined value of approximately PLN 45m (€10.6m). The company manufactures equipment and steel structures for industry.
