Iberdrola to build power unit in Stalowa Wola?

Elektrocieplownia Stalowa Wola has announced that
Iberdrola submitted the cheapest bid in a tender to build a new power unit in Stalowa Wola. The company made an offer of just over PLN 1.3bn (€311.2m) net.
The second cheapest bid was from a consortium of the firms
Polimex-Mostostal and
Tecnimont (PLN 1.5bn or €359.1m), and the third lowest was made by
Abener Energia (PLN 1.6bn or €383m). The investment will involve building a combined-cycle power unit with a power capacity of approximately 400 MW. The contractor will be responsible for designing, installing and starting up the unit together with essential infrastructure and auxiliary units. The project will take 38 months to complete from the day the contract is signed.
