2012-02-13
On 1 February 2012 a consortium headed by
Przedsiebiorstwo Robot Inzynieryjnych Fart signed a contract to build the Radom south bypass.
As
Polish Construction Review reported earlier, the project will cost PLN 154m (€36.9m), PLN 72m (€17.2m) of which will be covered by an EU subsidy. The contractor will begin the investment by constructing a two-level flyover on Sycynska Street. There are also plans to erect two bridges and four two-level interchanges (with Sycynska and Wyscigowa Streets, the future Mlodzianowska Street and Wiejska/Godlewska Street). In turn, there are plans to install traffic lights at single-level intersections with Wierzbicka, Warsztatowa and Stalowa Streets. The undertaking is to be completed by September 2014.
