Property developer
Dolcan intends to launch nine housing projects and put the finishing touches on five developments in Warsaw this year.
The developer currently offers 15 housing projects, including flats and luxury apartments in Warsaw, Zabki, Lublin, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin and Kozienice. In 2012 the company will wrap up the construction of five housing estates (initial phases of housing estates Zielony Kamyk and Konik Polny, the Rudy Rydz estate, a segment of the Czerwona Jarzebina housing estate and the first phase of the Ogrody Ochota complex), most of which will be rent-free homes. In addition, Dolcan plans to commence nine projects this year, including subsequent phases of ongoing projects. It plans to start the second phase of the Teczowe housing estate in the Wlochy district and the second phase of the Ogrody Ochota project. The company is also considering to commence the second phase of the Powstancow housing estate in Zabki and a brand new housing and commercial construction project designated as Galeria Zabki (totalling 300 housing units). In addition, Dolcan intends to expand into Czestochowa’s housing market where it intends to build 200 housing units.
Dolcan’s senior management has announced that, since buyers show increased interest, the company plans to continue the construction of new rent-free housing projects. Second phases of the Rudy Rydz, Rudy Rydz-Las and Konik Polny housing estates will commence in 2012 and so will the next part of the Zielony Kamyk complex.
What should be noted is the company’s intention to enter the commercial construction segment in 2012. Dolcan will construct the Galeria Lodygowa retail and service complex in Warsaw whose total floor space is expected to exceed 9,300 m². In addition, a similar project will be completed at Skorupki Street in Zabki.
