Factory and research centre in Rzeszow

Hamilton Sundstrand, a company from the UTC group, intends to build a production plant and research centre in Rzeszow on a site in the Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Mielec. The planned undertakings will cost in total PLN 114.2m (€28.3m), according to Puls Biznesu.
The production facility will produce and assemble aircraft engine units. In addition, staff at the plant will test such units and repair auxiliary engines. In turn, the R&D centre will design aviation products and make improvements to already existing equipment. The investment, which will take until 2015 to complete, will create 400 new jobs.
