Mostostal Plock predicts sales of PLN 150m in 2010
2010-01-18
Mostostal Plock, a company specialising in construction-assembly services for the
chemicals and petro-chemicals branches, forecasts sales of at least PLN 150m (€37.2m) this year. At the same time the company's senior management expects lower profitability, according to
Parkiet.
In 2009 the company had a net profit margin of approximately 15.1%, but has not disclosed its turnover for last year. The company's order book for 2010 is over 50% full and because of a shortage of large-scale investments in the refinery branch it intends to seek orders in the power engineering sector. Moreover, Mostostal's senior management is hoping to win a number of subcontractor contracts and is considering competing in collaboration with
Mostostal Warszawa, which owns a 52.5% stake in the Plock-based company.
