Cornerstone laid for a new terminal at Lodz airport

The cornerstone has been laid for Passenger Terminal No. 3 at the International Airport in Lodz. The contractor for the investment is a consortium headed by
Hochtief Polska.
The terminal will comprise three storeys above ground and one underground and will have a useable floor area of 8,300 m². Besides passenger service desks the building will also include baggage handling facilities and a garage in the basement section. Attached to the building will be a flight control tower. The terminal is to be ready by May 2011.
