Max Boegl to build Wroclaw stadium
2010-01-27
A consortium headed by
Max Boegl will complete the construction of a sports stadium in Wroclaw, which should be ready for use by midway through 2011, PAP reported.
The company has replaced a consortium led by
Mostostal Warszawa as general contractor for the project. As we informed our readers, the city of Wroclaw terminated its contract with the latter back in December 2009 as a consequence of delays in completing the investment. The new contractor has already asked the company
Budimex if it is interested in collaborating in the undertaking, and the latter is considering talks over the possible terms of a sub-contractor agreement. The stadium will host
Euro 2012 matches.
