UBM preparing new investments in Poland
2010-01-29
The Austrian property developer
UBM intends to expand its Poleczki Business Park in Warsaw. The project is slated to begin midway through 2010.
The investor wants to add around 25-26,000 m² of fresh office space together with a three-star hotel and a conference centre. The investment will likewise involve putting up a 10,000 m² logistics centre with high-storage halls.
In addition, UBM has more commercial projects in the pipeline. Among other things, it plans to collaborate with
Credo in building retail parks in Gdynia, Lublin and Sosnowiec. The combined value of these investments will be approx. €88-89m. It also has plans to purchase a plot together with the design and construction permit for an office complex in Szczecin, although a final decision on this matter will only be made towards the end of February.
