Power engineering investments in Ostroleka county

Two
power engineering projects are planned for Ostroleka county in the coming years. Firstly,
Stora Enso Poland intends to build a heat and power station for its own needs in the town of Ostroleka itself. The investment will set the firm back roughly €137m and will be financed out its own pocket. On the other hand,
Energa Elektrownie Ostroleka is planning to put up a coal-fired power station in Goworka. The investment, which will make use of the latest technological solutions, will require expenditure in the region of PLN 6bn (€1.5bn). The company is currently negotiating the purchase of the land it needs for the project.
