Polnord embarks on housing investment in Szczecin

Polnord intends to begin laying the foundations of a housing complex in Gumience district in Szczecin at the end of February or the beginning of March. The construction permit for the first stage of its "Ku Sloncu" investment becomes valid on 3 February.
The flats will be located around 8 km from the border crossing at Lubieszyn, just outside the city's western boundary and on a major artery 3 km from the city centre (Kosciuszki Square).
A total of 217 flats will be built in the first stage. Work on this part of the investment is slated to begin in March 2010 and last until October 2011. A total of 760 flats and 30 commercial premises will be built in the investment, representing a total floor area of approx. 44,000 m². The deadline for completing the whole investment, which has been divided into three stages, is 2013.
