Sniezka considering paying out dividend

Fabryka Farb i Lakierow Sniezka intends to pay out a dividend similar to last year's figure provided that there are no dramatic changes in its investment plans.
The company's senior management has announced its desire to achieve higher profit and revenue growth this year. If it has a chance to launch new major investments, then it will lower its dividend – last year it paid out PLN 18.3m (€4.6m) to shareholders. In addition, the company is planning to build a paint production plant in Romania, although the final decision on the date for launching the project will be made in the first quarter 2010. Sniezka is currently eyeing a number of entities as possible acquisition targets, but has not yet been involved in talks with any firm either in Poland or abroad.
