Fakro launches new line of windows
2010-02-19
Fakro has broadened its assortment to include new windows whose construction enables to create attic-level balconies.
They are two-sash windows, whose upper section opens upwards at an reclining angle, while the lower sash opens to a vertical position. The window is also connected to side barriers which extend outwards when the lower part of the window opens. When opened the sashes create an attic balcony. When the window is closed the barriers are concealed in the window under the concealed plates.
The new balcony windows are large, i.e. 94x255 cm in size, thus ensuring the room extensive light coverage. They are fitted with a safe glazing unit, and also feature the topSafe strengthening system, which makes them more burglar proof. In addition, the windows are fitted with an automatic ventilator, which helps save thermal energy and ensures the room a sufficient supply of fresh air.
