Decora planning to improve results

Decora, a producer and distributor of interior finishing and decoration products, intends this year to improve its financial results by optimising the group's structure, Parkiet reported.
The company's investment budget may reach several million zloty in 2010 and this money will be used to finance a series of renovation investments. Earlier the company had planned to build a skirting board factory in Russia, but eventually opted to rent and refurbish a production hall in Belarus instead. The location of the plant in the special economic zone would ensure savings that would enable the company to avoid paying customs. In addition, the company is also mulling the possible construction of a plant in Belarus, although it has not yet made any decision on this matter.
