New production complex in Lublin

Orzel intends to build a factory in Poniatowa in Lubelskie voivodship, PAP reported.
The plant will stand on a 2 ha site and will produce rubber granulate out of old car tires. Construction work is due to commence in Q1 2010 and is slated for completion by January 2011. The factory will turn out 12,000 tonnes of granulate a year. The investment will cost an estimated PLN 27m (€6.8m), PLN 17.5m (€4.4m) of which will come from the EU's Innovative Economy Operational Programme.
