Small bypass envisaged for Zabkowice
2010-02-26
Dolnoslaska Sluzba Drog i Kolei (Lower Silesian Road and Rail Authority) is planning to build a small ringroad around Zabkowice Slaskie along voivodship road No. 382. A tender has just been announced to choose a contractor for the undertaking, which will be built as a "design and build" project.
According to the authority's plans, the bypass will begin at the intersection with national road No. 8, and from there run southeastwards to the River Budzowka, where it will then turn north east and connect with voivodship road No. 382. The task of the winner of the tender will be to prepare the essential design, construction and detailed design documentation, obtain the mandatory administrative permits and then build the ringroad and obtain operating permit. The undertaking will cost an estimated PLN 20.8m (€5.2m) and half of the cash needed for the project will come from EU funds and the remaining part from the budget of the Dolnoslaskie voivodship and Zabkowice Slaskie municipality. The deadline for completing the investment is October 2012.
