Multi-purpose complex under construction in Torun

The company L&P has begun building the Copernicus European Conference-Hotel Centre on the corner of Popieluszki Street and Bulwar Filadelfijski road in Torun. The general contractor for the investment is Eiffage Budownictwo Mitex, we read in Gazeta Wyborcza.
The complex will have a total floor area of 15,500 m² and house a four-star hotel with 147 rooms and five suites, a restaurant and a discotheque. In addition, the centre will include a sports-recreation complex with two swimming pools, each 300 m² in size. One of the pools will be enclosed within a 670 m² glass hall, while the second will be outdoors. The complex will also boast a gym, a spa centre and a bowling alley. According to the investor's timetable for the project, the centre will be ready by the end of 2010. The investment was designed by the Gdynia-based architectural studio CKK Architekci.
