Krakow airport terminal expansion

The international passenger terminal at Balice Airport in Krakow is to be overhauled and expanded. The project design was prepared by the architectural studio APA Czech, Dulinski, Wrobel, PAP reported.
The project will cost almost PLN 16m (€4.1m). According to the project timetable, the first part of the expansion work will be completed in 2012 and the project as whole should be finished by 2013. As a result of the upgrade the terminal's passenger handling capacity will increase to 7.5 million a year.
