The entire complex will consist of five interconnecting parts. Two buildings with a combined floor area of approximately 14,600 m² will be constructed in the first stage of the undertaking. The first of these will be used for teaching and administration functions and serve as the seat of humanities disciplines while the second will house the Faculty of History and academic-research facilities. The undertaking will be subsidised by the regional operational programme and the first phase of the project will cost roughly PLN 70m (€17.8m), PLN 42m (€10.7m) will come from EU funds. The construction of the first two units is to be completed in June 2011.
