New overpass in Krzeszowice

The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) is planning to build an overpass along voivodship road No. 79 in Krzeszowice in Malopolskie voivodship. The estimated cost of the undertaking, for which a construction permit has just been issued, is PLN 25m (€6.4m), PAP reported.
The structure will be 160 metres in length with 1.5 metre wide pavements. It will replace the existing overpass which is to be dismantled once its replacement is finished. The project will also involve constructing approach roads, building an intersection between Kosciuszki Street and Krakowska and Zimna Woda Streets, and installing new pavements, drainage and water-supply infrastructure, street lights and acoustic screens.
