A bioethanol plant is to be built in south-west Poland. The investment will be located in Goswinowice and will be financed with the help of a loan from the European Investment Bank, PAP reported.
The plant will turn out 139 million litres of bioethanol and 100,000 tonnes of animal feed as a byproduct of processed biofuel. Fuel for the plant will come from sweetcorn from both local crops and imports. The EIB will put up a loan of €20.8m to finance the construction and operation of the complex.
