Ikea: work to begin soon on Orla factory

Swedspan, a company owned by the
Ikea group, will begin building a production facility in Orla municipality in Podlaskie voivodship in April 2010, we read in
Rzeczpospolita.
The complex will feature an HDF chipboard plant, a saw mill and a varnishing shop. The facility will also eventually produce wooden chairs. The undertaking will cost an estimated €340m and the assembly lines are scheduled to begin rolling in 2012.
