Budopol Wroclaw waiting for the spring
2010-03-02
Budopol Wroclaw is experiencing major delays in launching new projects, primarily as a consequence of adverse weather conditions in recent months,
Parkiet informed its readers.
The harsh winter has forced the company to put on hold some of its planned work, for example, concrete pouring tasks. According to Budopol's senior management, it has not suffered such delays in construction work for the last few years and it will have an unfavourable impact on the company's financial results in the first quarter of 2010. However the company hopes to make up for any such losses in the coming months. At the present time Budopol is completing a number of contracts for
Gant Development,
including a housing estate called Mysliwska Park in Gdansk, a residential building on Krakow's Meissnera Street and a multi-family complex in Poznan. Gant may also assign it the task of building an estate on Sokolowska Street in Warsaw, for which the developer recently obtained a construction permit. The company is still trying to diversify its order book and win contracts from businesses outside the capital group.
