New flyover in Malopolska
2010-03-02
The authorities in Malopolska voivodship are planning to build a flyover above the "Zakopianka” road in the Krakow suburb of Mogilany. A construction permit has just been issued for the project, PAP reported.
The structure will be 67 metres in length and support an eight-metre wide road and two-metre wide pavement. The undertaking will also require building approach roads to the flyover and intersections providing drivers with access to the “Zakopianka” road, as well as drainage infrastructure and lighting. The investment, designed to improve traffic flow between Krakow and Zakopane and enhance safety on this part of the route, will cost an estimated PLN 20m (€5.1m).
