Concentration tendencies on Polish real estate market

2010-03-05

The Polish real estate agencies Partnerzy Nieruchomosci and Metrohouse intend to merge. The firms have just signed a contract as the first step paving the way for the transaction.
The merger will create the largest real estate agency in Poland with 30 sales teams featuring more than 350 consultants and brokers at its disposal. The unification process will take until midway through the year at least to complete. During this period changes will be made to the companies' organisational structures and their information and order-management systems standardised. There are also plans to open new branches in the biggest Polish cities, and the agencies are likewise considering acquiring real estate offices already operating on the market. The new firm formed from the structures of the two companies will enter the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2-3 years from now.
