Pozbud: public offering underway
2010-03-08
Pozbud, a manufacturer of PVC and wooden windows, has launched a public share issue, from which it hopes to earn more than PLN 20m (€5m).
According to the company's own plans the cash obtained from the flotation will go towards takeovers and broadening its assortment to include interior windows. These investments will require outlays of PLN 7m (€1.8m) and PLN 10m (€2.6m), respectively, although the company's senior management stresses that the acquisitions could also be financed from other sources. Pozbud is keen to buy profitable businesses operating in other segments than the window industry and with turnovers in the region of PLN 30-50m (€8-13m). Pozbud expects to finalise the first acquisition before the end of 2010.
The company's portfolio currently includes orders worth PLN 60m (€15.4m) and this year it forecasts revenues of PLN 75.7m (€19.4m), up 10% year on year, and a net profit of PLN 8.4m (€2.2m), representing growth of 30%.
