MEW planning water-generated power station in Wielkopolska

MEW wants to build a small water-generated power unit in the Wielkopolska region,
Puls Biznesu reported.
The company has just bought a plot on which the 120 kW unit will be built. The station will be ready for start-up in Q3 2011 and the undertaking will cost an estimated PLN 2.5m (€0.6m). The company has also lined up a similar project in Podkarpackie voivodship where it has already bought real estate for a future water-generated power station. Over the next three years the company hopes to build units with a combined power output of 2.8 MW.
