Tender announced for overhaul of Warsaw Stadium station

Polish State Railways (PKP) is holding a tender to choose a contractor to rebuild the Warsaw Stadium (Warszawa Stadion) railway station in the Polish capital.
According to the plans announced by the investor, the contractor will be responsible for preparing both the construction project and the detailed design as well as for carrying out construction-assembly work tasks within the framework of the reconstruction project. The planned investment is directly connected with Poland's preparations for Euro 2012. Its purpose is to improve transport services and the technical condition of the railway station as well as restore the building's aesthetic appearance. The deadline for submitting bids is 22 June 2010 and the winner will be the contractor that submits the lowest price.
