The Norwegian capital group
Genfer intends to develop a chain of intelligent Puro hotels in Poland. The first hotel complex to operate under this brand name will be built in Wroclaw city centre and it is scheduled to welcome its first guests in February 2011. The investment is estimated to be worth PLN 35m (€8.6m). The four-star Puro hotel in this city will have 102 rooms with modern fittings and furnishings as well as an underground parking garage for hotel guests.
Further investments are in the pipeline for Krakow, Poznan, Lodz, Katowice, the Tri-City area and Warsaw. Genfer intends to build eight such complexes by 2015.
Puro intelligent hotels boast a modern design and make use of technological innovations such as an Internet reservation service and self-service receptions. Another basic feature of the hotels are their central location, i.e. in close proximity to restaurants, theatres, cinemas and historic buildings and monuments.
