Work begins on S69 Bielsko-Biala-Zywiec road

Construction work will shortly commence on a section of the S69 express road between Bielsko-Biala and Zywiec. The task of carrying out the investment has been entrusted to a consortium headed by
Polimex-Mostostal,
which will build the fragment at a cost of PLN 788.1m (€193.6m).
The section will be 15.5 km in length and function as a dual carriageway. It will run through the municipalities of Wilkowice, Buczkowice and Lodygowice as well as the towns of Bielsko-Biala and Zywiec. The contractor for the
road will be responsible for building four road junctions and 25 civil engineering structures, including a 1.2 km elevated road in Rybarzowice. The construction is to be ready by November 2012.
