Rieter expanding factories in Poland

The car carpet and insulation manufacturer Rieter is preparing to broaden the scope of its operations in Poland, Puls Biznesu reported.
The company intends to enlarge its acoustic insulation production facilities in Katowice and its auto carpet factory in Nowogard. The company wants to inject roughly PLN 80m (€19.9m) into these projects and bolster its workforce by 300 employees. The deadline for completing the investments is 2014, and the company is applying for a government grant for this purpose.
