GlaxoSmithKline beefing up factory in Poznan

The pharmaceutical firm
GlaxoSmithKline is enlarging its production plant in Poznan. The general contractor for the undertaking is
Przedsiebiorstwo Techniczno-Budowlane Nickel.
Among other things, the contractor will be responsible for overhauling the interior of the production building, the utility network and the internal road system. There are also plans for new auxiliary buildings and technological infrastructure. The expansion work will cost in excess of PLN 20m (€5.1m). The investment is due to get underway towards the end of July and is scheduled for completion by Q2 2011.
