2010-08-09
The company
Plaza Centers has begun building a shopping centre in Torun. The general contractor for the investment is the firm
Karmar.
The mall, dubbed Torun Plaza, will have a floor area of 40,000 m². The centre will include 140 shops and service points as well as an eight-screen cinema and an entertainment centre called Fantazy Park. Customers will likewise have access to a car park with room for up to 1,200 vehicles. The construction work will cost roughly PLN 80m (€20.5m). The investment is set to get under way before the end of August this year and the deadline for its completion is November 2011.
Over the last 14 years the developer has built a total of 30 retail facilities in Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Latvia. The Torun shopping centre will be the company's 10th mall in Poland.
