PPP underground car parks in Poznan?
2010-08-16
Poznan's local government is planning to build an underground car park on Plac Bernardynski. The undertaking will be carried out according to public-private partnership rules and City Hall has received two offers from private investors interested in collaborating in the investment, according to
Gazeta Wyborcza.
The car park will be a three-level structure capable of holding up to around 300 vehicles. The private investor will be able to derive a profit from its operation for a period of 30 years, after which the car park will become city property. If everything goes according to plan, the investment will get under way at the end of 2011 or the beginning of 2012 and will be ready for service by the end of 2012.
