Work begins on Jaroslaw-Radymno stretch of A4

The authorities in Podkarpackie voivodship have issued a construction permit for the Jaroslaw-Radymno stretch of the A4 motorway, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) announced.
The section will run from Wierzbna junction up to the area around Pawlosiow, and it will be more than 8 km in length. The fragment will be a dual carriageway with two lanes of traffic in each direction. The contractor will also be responsible for reconstructing three county roads and two municipality roads as well as building a system of approach roads. The project began on 18 August.
The entire Jaroslaw-Radymno fragment will be 25 km in length and is to be built by a consortium formed by
Budimex Dromex and
Ferrovial Agroman. The undertaking will be carried out as a "design and build" project.
