New research-services centre in Lublin

The company
EuroCompass is planning to build a research-services centre in Lublin. It will operate on a site in the Special Economic Zone Euro-Park Mielec, according to
Gazeta Wyborcza.
The facility will provide services connected with, among other things, the construction and development of spatial information systems as well as provide consulting services and specialist training in the use of information technology and ensuring access to spatial data based on commercial principles. These services are aimed at both private investors and local government units whose scope of activities include strategic planning and the preparation of investment projects. The undertaking will cost approximately PLN 1.8m (€461,538) and enable the firm to broaden the scope of its operations to embrace other regions of Eastern Europe.
