Porto 55 project closer to launch

The company Sjaelso has applied for a construction permit for a new shopping mall it wants to build on Jagiellonczyka Square in Elblag.
Porto 55, as the complex has been dubbed, will contain commercial and retail space, as well as offices and entertainment attractions. The investor is also overhauling the road system in the neighbourhood of the complex. In addition, there are plans to build additional parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. If everything goes according to the investor's own plans, the construction permit should be issued in the next two or three months. The mall should be ready to welcome its first customers by the beginning of 2012.
