Oknoplast unveils plans for new manufacturing facility

Oknoplast-Krakow is to set up a new production unit in the village of Ochmanow near Niepolomice. It will be built on the site of a factory belonging to the company, PAP reported.
The new unit will turn out aluminium and PVC joinery products as well as roller blinds. Financing for the undertaking will come from the company's own funds as well as bank loans. The new unit will significantly boost Oknoplast's production capacity. According to company representatives, Oknoplast currently has a 6% share of the PVC window market and 45% of its output is exported to Germany, the Czech Republic, Italy, France, Hungary and Slovakia.
Oknoplast forecasts 7% sales growth in value terms in 2010 and expects to generate revenues of roughly PLN 268m (€67.2m). The company's senior management is banking on higher sales on both the domestic market and abroad.
