Elblag Ogrody shopping centre to be expanded?
2010-08-27
ING Real Estate Investment Management, acting on behalf of the owner, wants to invest in enlarging the Ogrody shopping centre in Elblag. The project is worth an estimated €50m, according to
Dziennik Elblaski.
The shopping centre was built in 2002 and currently has a total floor area of more than 20,000 m². In addition, customers have access to a car park with room for approximately 900 vehicles. After its upsizing the centre may be almost twice as large as it is now. For the investment to go ahead, however, changes must first be made to the spatial development plant for the plot belonging to the complex and for that to happen local councillors in Elblag must first give their consent. The investor is currently awaiting a decision on this matter.
