Wind farms planned for Wielkopolskie region

The company Konin Wind Energy (KWE) is to build several wind-generated power stations in Konin county, including on the site of former pits of the Konin mine.
A total of four wind farms are planned within the framework of the investment. They will have a combined power generating capacity of up to 175 MW. In the first stage of the project KWE will put up a power station on the site of the Jozwin pit. The entire undertaking is to be completed by 2015 .
KWE was set up by Global Wind Energy Poland and Kopalnia Wegla Brunatnego "Konin” in Kleczew.
