PLN 71.5m earmarked for road renovation projects in Malopolskie voivodship

A total of 218 km of county and municipality roads in Malopolskie voivodship are to be upgraded in the second stage of the National Programme for the Reconstruction of Local Roads. The project will require expenditure in the region of PLN 71.5m (€17.9m), PAP reported.
According to the project guidelines, the modernisation work will encompass 33 sections of municipality roads and 18 stretches of county roads. All these undertakings are to be completed by the end of this year. In total, in 2010 close to 92 km of municipality roads and around 126 km of county roads will be refurbished within the framework of the project.
