Excerpts from land and mortgage registers via the Internet in 2012
2010-08-30
In addition to online access to land and mortgage registers, which is available now, starting from 1 January 2012 Poles will be able to obtain, for a charge, excerpts from land and mortgage registers from the Central Database of Land and Mortgage Registers via the Internet, as reported by
Rzeczpospolita.
Currently, excerpts from land and mortgage registers can be obtained only from the land and mortgage register court. The situation is expected to change in two years' time, but even then not all registers will be available online as a third of all land and mortgage registers still have not been converted into the electronic form. According to the Ministry of Justice, all land and mortgage registers will be migrated to the Central Database of Land and Mortgage Registers in 2013.
The Ministry of Justice also plans that the resources of the National Court Register, the Register of Pledges and the National Criminal Register will become available online as well – the necessary information will be printed and the printout will have the status of a valid document. In the opinion of the Ministry of Justice, these changes will facilitate the flow of documents. The documents will be used for a charge (paid by bank transfer or credit card), but the actual amount of payment has not been disclosed yet.
