Work begins on Areszt mall in Piotrkow Trybunalski

The corner stone has been laid for a new shopping mall called Areszt on Wojska Polskiego Street in Piotrkow Trybunalski. The general contractor for the undertaking is the company Grupa MTB.
The project will involve converting a former prison into a commercial-retail centre as well as erecting a new building on the Rycerska Steet side. The complex will boast a total floor area exceeding 3,200 m². The investment will be carried out in two stages, the first of which will be completed in Q1 2011. Then stage two will be launched, during which the contractor will revitalise the historic jail. The project as a whole will require an estimated budget of just under PLN 20m (€5m).
