Over 4,500 new dwellings completed in Warsaw in H1 2010
2010-08-31
In H1 2010, there were around 4,500 completed flats built by property developers available for sale in Warsaw. However, most of them were large premises, as reported by PAP.
All projects run by developers in the first six months of the year comprised over 15,000 flats, so home completions accounted for nearly half of all dwellings on offer. Currently, projects in the popular housing segment with the size of up to 60 m² represent the bulk of flats introduced to the market. Completed homes offered by developers sell slower than the projects started recently, which is attributable to the fact that the former fall short of buyers' expectations. Completed homes are too big and too expensive for potential buyers.
