Puls Biznesu.
The company has specialised in the construction of shopping malls and small shopping centres for several years. To date, Switalski & Synowie has completed projects amounting to 33,000 m² of useable space. The company's management decided to expand its offering by adding housing projects. Currently, the company's owns 770 ha of land, and a large part of it is planned to be used specifically for housing projects. The company's management plans to build housing estates in the vicinity of large urban centres, including Poznan. These projects are to be located in areas which are away from agglomerations but have a convenient access to municipal infrastructure. Conceptual work on a housing project in Gwiazdowo is about to complete soon. 220 single-family semi-detached, terraced and detached houses will be built as part of phase 1 of the project. The average house area will be 130 m². Additionally, the company is preparing to launch a housing estate project in Szczawno-Zdroj – the work is to start in H1 2011. The company also runs similar projects in Krosno, Wolsztyn and Goleniow.
However, the company's management does not intend to withdraw from retail space projects. The company plans to implement and develop a concept for the construction of the so-called mini-parks (i.e. shopping malls located in poviat cities around Poland). Projects with the total retail space of 10,000 m² are currently underway.
