Armatura reports upward sales curve in H1

The group
Armatura Krakow noted sales of PLN 126.3m (€31.7m) in the first half of 2010, which translates into growth of 22% vis a vis the corresponding period of 2009,

In H1 the group posted a net profit of PLN 6.5m (€1.6m), which represents a sharp drop in relation to the figure of PLN 21.4m (€5.3m) it achieved during the same period of the previous year. However, when one-off costs from last year are excluded from the equation Armatura's net profit in H1 2010 was actually up by 36% compared with 12 months' previously.
Domestic sales currently account for around 83% of the enterprise's revenues, although the share of exports in its overall revenue structure is steadily climbing. In the first six months of this year foreign sales brought in revenues of PLN 21.4m (€5.3m), which is up by approximately 41% on the corresponding period of last year. The company's biggest outlet markets at the present time are Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
