PLN 70m to expand a road in Lodzkie region

The expansion of voivodship road No. 708 will cost close to PLN 70m (€17.8m), to be financed in 70% by the EU, as reported by PAP.
Investment plans provide for the expansion of the 11.3 km Warszyce-Strykow section, 5.2 km Strykow-Niesulkow fragment as well as the 2.8 km Strykow ring road. Once the road is reconstructed, it will be easier to travel to the industrial zone that is to be built nearby Strykow. The execution of the investment, entrusted to Hermann Kirchner Polska, is to commence before the end of September 2010 and to continue to 2012.
